Roof planes from aerial imagery, each with its pitch, orientation and area — or the mapped building outline where no measured data exists. Which of the two you are looking at is stated on the roof, in the proposal and on the drawings, never blended into one number.

A layout that respects the roof

Modules placed plane by plane with edge setbacks and walkways, obstacles and keep-out areas left clear, and strings sized against the inverter's voltage window at the site's own minimum temperature.

Production, hour by hour, plane by plane

A full year simulated for every plane at rooftop temperatures. A flush array on a hot metal deck does not run as cool as an open-rack field, and it is not modelled as though it does.

The customer's bill, not a tariff average

Savings are priced on the tariff that customer is actually on, with energy and demand charge kept apart, and the export rule that applies at that system size is named and cited rather than assumed.

A battery sized where it earns

Storage is sized against the monthly peak that sets the demand charge, and against generation that would otherwise leave the site below its value — not fitted to a round number of hours.

How it works

Six steps, one pass

Nothing is designed on a roof the customer has not confirmed, and nothing is priced on a tariff they are not on.

    Capture the roof

    Type the address. Where imagery supports it, the roof comes back as planes with their pitch, orientation and area; where it does not, you get the mapped building outline and are told which one you have.

  2. 02

    Confirm it

    You correct what imagery cannot know — the plant room added last year, the skylight row, the bay the tenant will not release. The confirmed roof is what everything downstream is built on.

  3. 03

    Design the system

    Modules and strings fill the confirmed planes, keeping edge setbacks and walkways clear, and the inverters are sized against the strings rather than the other way round.

  4. 04

    Price the bill

    Production meets the customer's tariff: energy and demand charge are separated, the export rule for that system size is applied and named, and a battery is sized against the peak that sets the demand charge.

  5. 05

    Draw it

    The roof layout, the strings, the behind-the-meter single-line diagram and the cable routes render from the same geometry as the numbers, and export to PDF and CAD.

  6. 06

    Send the proposal

    One proposal document for the customer, and the connection paperwork checklist for that system size for you.

Stated up front

What it does not do

A rooftop offer is only useful if everyone knows which parts still need a person on site. These do.

It does not sign off your roof

Uplift, ballast and purlin loading are a structural engineer's opinion, and the platform does not offer one. Roof structure, wind speed, fire setbacks and switchboard capacity are listed as items to verify on site on every proposal.

It does not replace the site visit

Imagery is imagery. Roof condition, cable paths, shading that appeared after the photograph, the state of the main switchboard and exposure to theft and vandalism are confirmed by someone standing on the roof.

It does not fly a drone

Geometry comes from aerial imagery, from the mapped building outline, or from a drawing you supply. Photogrammetric capture is not part of the service.

It is not a qualified signature

Your customer can accept the offer online, and the record names who accepted it, when, from which verified email address, and which version of the offer. That is an acceptance with an audit trail — not a qualified electronic signature, and not the contract you sign afterwards.

It does not obtain the connection

The drawings are engineering documents and the checklist names the forms, studies and fees the utility will ask for. Submission, the stamp of a licensed engineer and the utility's own review stay with you.
